Ten Supports Community Organizations:Ten Salon has a deep and abiding commitment to our community and it gives us untold joy to contribute our time, talent and resources in the hope of making a difference in the lives of those around us.
Marc Smith Day is based on giving back to the community as Marc Smith was such a great example of doing so. Help spread the word on the need for research and education for Pancreatic Cancer… it is the least funded and the deadliest http://www.pancan.org/
The next Marc Smith Day will be in March 28, 2011! – Marsh Landing Country Club – Get your foursome together!
We believe in the power of art to transform and heal sick or injured children who are hospitalized. Art helps to restore self-confidence and self-esteem and provides a way for children to visually deal with what they are feeling.
Each Christmas everyone from Ten fills a pillowcase with toys, clothes, and food for First Coast children in need. Bob Davenport (who plays Santa) began this idea from when he lived in New Zealand as a boy. “Presents don’t grow under the tree, they go in pillowcases at the end of the bed.” We’re proud to do our part at Ten Salon.
